Free, Fee-based added value information services

How effective are these services in Nigeria?

The functionality of these websites is seriously in doubt.

This is partly because of poor economic condition of the people in which they pre-ocuppied with feeding themselves adequately.

Again inadequate supply of electricty poses another danger to online service development.

Until these problems are minized or reduced, the efficiency and effectiveness of online services in Nigeria remain a mirage.

RESPONSE TO MRS.UNOBE’S
CONTRIBUTION:

Free Fee-based and added value information services

Nigeria is a rich country, if government at all levels are committed to the welfare of the citizenry and the development the country generally, poverty you talked about will be minimized to allow people search online.

Power supply you mentioned as the sole problem of online searches in Nigeria is a political issue, government is not ready for stable power supply in the country.

Generators will continue to be the solution to power supply till we have stable power supply in the country.

Mr Ogala Rap.

I agree with your point that power failure is a political issue which if govt likes can put a STOP to it. Bearing in mind the nature of our (Nigerian) abundant natural resources as well as human resources. If it were to be a serious country if couldn have be discussion on power issue by now.
